Our 2026 troupe has now been selected. This page contains all the important information, dates, costs and expectations for the troupe, so please keep checking back throughout the rehearsal period.

BLACKPOOL 2026 – EVENT DAY

We are delighted to be returning to the incredible Blackpool Tower Ballroom!

Students will rehearse with the troupe team before taking part in the performance.

Transport

Stagecoach will not provide transport to or from Blackpool.

Parents/guardians are responsible for arranging transport for their child to and from the venue.

Staying in Blackpool?
We know that some families will be travelling and may wish to stay overnight.
Perform Now has arranged preferential booking arrangements with two excellent local hotels, both offering fairly easy access to Blackpool Tower. There is absolutely no requirement to use these hotels, but hopefully the options make planning your visit a little easier.

Hotel Payment & Cancellation Information
• All bookings require a valid credit or debit card.
• Payment is due upon arrival.
• Free amendments or cancellations can be made up until 3:00pm on the day prior to arrival.
• Late cancellations, changes after this time or no-shows will incur a one-night charge.
• Online bookings require a £1 card authorisation for verification, which is released a few days later.

REHEARSAL DATES

We have a very tight rehearsal schedule, so students must be available to attend ALL rehearsals in order to remain part of the troupe.

Attendance is essential

If your child is unable to attend a rehearsal for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible.

Due to the limited rehearsal time, missing a rehearsal may result in your child’s place being removed from the troupe and offered to a student on the reserve list.

Students will also be expected to practise independently between rehearsals.

COMMITMENT & EXPECTATIONS

Blackpool is an amazing opportunity, but being part of the troupe requires commitment, hard work and preparation.

Simply attending rehearsals is not enough. We expect every student to demonstrate:

Commitment
Effort
Good attendance
Focus during rehearsals
Independent practice at home
A positive and hardworking attitude

If a student consistently attends rehearsals but is not putting in the required work outside of rehearsals, we reserve the right to remove them from the troupe.

We want every member of the team to be fully committed to creating an incredible performance together.

COSTS

The total cost per student is £154, made up of:

£70 – Performance Fee
Paid to the event organisers.

£84 – Rehearsal, Chaperone & Costume Fee
Covers rehearsal costs, chaperoning and costumes.

Payment Deadlines

£84 Rehearsal, Chaperone & Costume Fee
Due: Wednesday 12th August 2026

If payment is not received by this date, your child’s place may be offered to a student on the reserve list.

Please note: The £84 rehearsal fee is non-refundable.

£70 Performance Fee
Due: Thursday 1st October 2026

Group Finale

In addition to our own performance, the children will take part in a fantastic group finale alongside the other performers at the event.

We will rehearse this in advance, but we would also encourage performers to practise at home where possible.
